Summary
Among the solutions proposed to increase the thermodynamic performance of adsorption process cooling machines, there is a regeneration process based on the propagation of thermal wave. After a brief survey on the last developments in the adsorption cooling machines field, the authors present the first results of a bidimensional numerical model without using convection heat transfer coefficient. This model is elaborated in the purpose to simulate the propagation of a thermal wave in an adsorption cooling machine's reactor.
