Summary

Improved air-conditioning and air circulation systems, developed for an AIDS clinic, are proving useful in containing tuberculosis infection. Intake air passes through prefilters, charcoal adsorption and two further stages of filtration. Exhaust air is ultraviolet irradiated to kill any bacteria. Insulation is covered with Mylar film.
