ALTERNATIVE LOW TEMPERATURE REFRIGERANTS.

Author(s) : SHIFLETT M. B., REED P. R.

Summary

ALTERNATIVES HAVE BEEN DEVELOPED PROVIDING DRAMATIC REDUCTIONS IN OZONE DEPLETION AND GLOBAL WARMING POTENTIALS, PLUS COOLING PERFORMANCE AND COMPRESSOR DISCHARGE CONDITIONS ESSENTIALLY THE SAME AS IN CURRENT LOW TEMPERATURE APPLICATIONS. THEORETICAL AND EXPERIMENTAL PERFORMANCE DATA ARE PRESENTED COMPARING THE ALTERNATIVES WITH CURRENTLY EXISTING CHLOROFLUOROCARBONS SUCH AS R502.
