Summary

Treats development of mathematical model of an r22 industrial refrigeration system with pump circulation of refrigerant through evaporators. Model gives information on refrigerant and oil circulation, the oil being partly miscible with the refrigerant. Demonstrates that it should be possible with careful design to prevent the oil-rich phase forming in evaporators and that this is a better approach than trying to remove oil rich phase from liquid separator.
