Summary

ON THE BASIS OF EXPERIMENTAL DATA OF ULTRASONIC WAVES PASSING THROUGH FROZEN SOIL, THE AUTO-CORRELATION FUNCTIONS, THE POWER SPECTRUMS, THE FOURIER SPECTRUMS AND TRANSFER FUNCTIONS OF ULTRASONIC WAVES WERE ANALYSED, AS ALSO SOME DATA ON FUNDAMENTAL FREQUENCIES, THE PASS-BAND, AND ATTENUATION COEFFICIENTS OF THE ULTRASONIC WAVES PASSING THROUGH CLAY AND SAND SOIL BLOCKS UNDER DIFFERENT TEMPERATURES. THESE RESEARCH RESULTS WILL ASSIST IN THE MEASUREMENT OF DYNAMIC PARAMETERS OF FROZEN SOILS WHEN SINKING WELLS.
