ANALYSIS ON RAISING UTILIZATION OF ENERGY SOURCES FOR LOW TEMPERATURE GEOTHERMAL DISTRICT HEATING BY HEAT PUMPS.

Author(s) : LU C., MA Y.

Summary

THE AUTHORS STUDIED THE USE OF LOW TEMPERATURES AND GEOTHERMAL RESOURCES ABUNDANT IN THE BEIJING-TIANJIN REGIONS OF CHINA. THEY EMPHASIZE THE IMPORTANCE OF LOAD DISTRIBUTION AND ENERGY SAVING FOR HEAT PUMPS ASSOCIATED WITH GEOTHERMAL SYSTEMS, DESCRIBE THE TESTING OF A GEOTHERMAL HEAT PUMP MODEL AND GIVE SOME RESULTS. THE ECONOMIC ANALYSIS SHOWS THERE ARE VERY WIDE DIFFERENCES WITH THE OTHER COUNTRIES FOR THE COST RATIO OF ELECTRICAL POWER AND OIL. ELECTRICALLY-DRIVEN HEAT PUMPS ARE THEREFORE LESS ADVANTAGEOUS THAN THOSE DRIVEN BY GAS ENGINES IN URBAN AREAS. AN ENERGY POLICY IS NECESSARY TO PROMOTE ENERGY SAVINGS BY HEAT PUMPS.
