Batch-type freezing equipment.
[In Japanese. / En japonais.]
Author(s) : NAKAYAMA S.
Type of article: Article
Summary
The report describes the operation, maintenance and servicing of batch-type freezing equipment. As an example, the author selected a large-scale apparatus capable of processing in 14 hours a 30-ton catch of sardines or other types of fish. At night the equipment is usually operated automatically. Since this type of freezing equipment is operated during very short periods, any malfunctioning will result in severe losses. The market demand for high quality frozen fish is high.
