Summary

MEASURES OF LOW TEMPERATURE HEAT CAPACITIES OF LEAD IODIDE LAYERED CRYSTALS INTERCALATED WITH PIPERIDINE, PYRIDINE, ANILINE, AND QUINOLINE. ANALYSIS OF THE OBTAINED RESULTS, CARRIED OUT IN THE FRAMEWORK OF A MODEL SUGGESTED BY SYRKIN AND FEODOSIEV, PERMITTED TO DETERMINE THE NATURE OF INTERATOMIC INTERACTION ANISOTROPY CHANGES CAUSED BY DIFFERENT INTERCALANTS. AN EXCESS HEAT CAPACITY FOUND IN SYSTEMS INTERCALATED WITH ANILINE AND QUINOLINE IS ASCRIBED TO A POSSIBLE SURFACE CONTRIBUTION OF DISPERSED SAMPLES UNDER STUDY.
