Summary

The article reviews changes in regulations and standards in the use and confinement of CFC and HCFC refrigerants. Particular attention is given to ammonia. The issue of safety standards is discussed, including the standard NF E 35-400, which is soon to be replaced. A new standard for the manufacture of pressurized devices is being drafted.
