Summary

These fruits are stored in air or controlled atmosphere at 9 deg C to study the effects on respiration, ethylene production, flesh firmness and sucrose, glucose, fructose, and malic, citric and fumaric acid content. The conditions which permit an extension of their shelf life are investigated.
