Summary

This paper explores the design and application of a low-temperature cryomodule, widely utilized in various industries. Its applications include enhancing the performance of devices in radio electronics, purifying gases in vacuum technology, cryopreserving biological specimens in medicine, and processing materials in mechanical engineering. Special emphasis is placed on utilizing a temperature range from 120 K to 85 K for storing microbiological materials and maintaining low temperatures in gamma detectors.
The novelty of this research lies in the development of a highly efficient and cost-effective cryogenic system based on a mixed refrigerant. This system reduces energy consumption by 1.5–2 times and allows temperature variation from -150°C to -200°C. The paper presents experimental test results, detailed analyses of various refrigerant mixtures, the schematic diagram, and photographs of the cryomodule prototype. The findings confirm the system’s stable operation and efficiency within the specified temperature range.
