Summary

A METHOD IS DESCRIBED FOR THE OPTIMIZATION OF THE REFRIGERATING SYSTEM WITH INCOMPLETE PARAMETERS, TEMPERATURE OF THE COOLED PRODUCT AND REFRIGERATING CAPACITY OF THE PLANT, WHICH ARE DETERMINED ONLY DURING THE OPTIMISATION CALCULATION. THE METHOD IS BASED ON A THERMAL AND ECONOMIC ANALYSIS. THE COSTS OF REFRIGERATION AND THE COST OF MEAT SHRINKAGE DURING FREEZING AND STORAGE ARE STUDIED. THE RESULTS OF THE OPTIMIZATION CALCULATIONS ARE PRESENTED FOR REFRIGERATING SYSTEMS WITH COLD ROOMS FOR FROZEN MEAT IN TERMS OF THE VALUE OF THE STORED PRODUCT, THE CAPACITY OF ROOMS AND THEIR LOADING RATIO.
