Summary
The factors influencing the effective application of carbon dioxide as a working fluid for machines of small and medium capacity are analysed. This analysis gives a picture of possible difficulties and decision paths in the transition of refrigeration machines of small and medium capacity to use the natural refrigerant CO2.
