Summary

THE CONDITIONS ADOPTED ALLOW THE CALCULATION OF MINIMUM DURATIONS. THE MAIN FEATURES ARE RELATED TO THE CARGO MODELLING, TO THE DEFINITION OF THE CONVECTIVE THERMAL TRANSFER COEFFICIENT, TO THE DRYING PROCESS BETWEEN GOODS AND REFRIGERATING AIR AND TO THE CALCULATION OF WATER LOSSES. THE LATTER IS HOWEVER GIVENWITH THE ASSUMPTION THAT THE TEMPERATURES OF AIR AND GOODS ARE ALREADY KNOWN. THE ANALYTIC CALCULATION OF THESE TEMPERATURES AND THE SOLUTIONS ARE DEALT WITH IN OTHER PAPERS.
