THE PROCEDURES FOR CRYOPRESERVATION OF BRASSICA CAMPESTRIS WERE ADAPTED FROM THOSE FOR RYE PROTOPLASTS AND THESE ARE DESCRIBED IN DETAIL. IN SPITE OF DEHYDRATION INJURY DURING TRANSFER TO THE VITRIFICATION SOLUTION AND DURING COOLING IN LIQUID NITROGEN, GROWTH OF THE CELLS WAS OBSERVED ON HYPOTONIC SEMI-SOLID MEDIA.G.R. S.
