FISH FROZEN AT 270 K (-3C) FOR 15 AND 37 DAYS HAD DETERIORATED AFTER 6 AND 13 DAYS, RESPECTIVELY, AT 273 K (0C). WHEN FREEZING WAS AT 253 K (-20C) FOR 15 AND 67 DAYS, STORAGE LIFE AT 273 K WAS 12 AND 13 DAYS. UNFROZEN SAMPLES HAD DETERIORATED AFTER 11 DAYS AT 273 K. FREEZING DOES NOT SEEM TO EXTEND STORAGE LIFE. THE ORGANISMS ISOLATED FROM DETERIORATED FISH ARE PSEUDOMONAS AND MORAXELLA.
