Drift eliminators and cooling tower performance.
Author(s) : BECKER B. R., BURDICK L. F.
Type of article: Article
Summary
Cooling tower fans must overcome the air pressure loss through drift eliminators, and this is a substantial component of the fan power required. Practical tests have shown that the configuration of the tower, and so the air flow pattern into the eliminators, can affect this pressure drop. A.R.T.
