Summary

The authors examine the possible effect of the total evaporation from products and the dehumidification capacity of cooling equipment on the equilibrium relative humidity of air in cold rooms. They have observed theoretically that an increase in these parameters results in an increase of the minimum relative humidity of the air. For steps of negative temperature down to -25 deg C, an analytical relation is proposed for calculating the minimum humidity. Recommendations are given for temperatures which give the minimum relative humidity of the air which is required. C.C.
