Summary
Apples harvested at two different dates, are stored under a controlled atmosphere (3% O2, 4% CO2) at 0-1 deg C in chambers having (or not) continuous ethylene removal. Effect of pre-harvest treatment with daminozide, of harvest date and of storage conditions on ripening, firmness, composition (acids, dry matter), acidity and mould development in fruit stored for 8 months.
