Summary

Viability after freezing was determined of five isolates on nine bacterial species: Staphylococcus aureus, S. hyicus, S. chromogenes and S. xylosus, Streptococcus agalactiae, S. dysgalactiae and S. uberis, Corynebacterium bovis, and Escherichia coli. Freezing of quarter milk samples for 6 weeks did not affect viability of any of these pathogens.
