Use of an electron microscope and an electron microprobe in studying the distribution of calcium ions in the muscles of shrimp after 5 kilograys of irradiation. The relation between the distribution of calcium ions and the enzymatic softening of the flesh of the shrimp after irradiation during storage at 4 deg C over 8 days.
