Summary
The paper discusses a test to evaluate the impact of low-emissivity aluminium shields on the power use and thermal performance of a multi-deck display case typically used in supermarkets for storing dairy products. It was found that using shields for extended hours of operation provides the most reduction in refrigeration load and power use.
