Summary
Changing from R22 to mixtures of the R410 series increases the maximum operating pressure to about 4 megapascals at condensing temperatures of 60 deg C. While the heat exchanger, expansion and control elements and tubes can be relatively easily redesigned due to the static load from the increased pressure, some significant differences occur in operation due to the dynamics loads.
