Summary
In the climate of Siberia the temperature of outside air allows to reduce electrical energy consumption by the refrigerating installation through the use of air-cooled condensers. The advantages of air condensers as compared to water condensers can be explained by water deficiency, decrease of electrical energy consumption for cold production, absence of such undesirable phenomena as the growth of water stone, corrosion. Air condensers are convenient for transport refrigerating units and decentralized refrigerating systems. The system with air condensers as compared to the water-cooled condensers has lower specific (per unit of the installed heat transfer surface) capital investments and lower (approximately by one order) operating costs.
