Energy efficient interim solutions for existing R12 and R502 installations.
Author(s) : RICKETTS M., BRUBAKER M.
Summary
Because of perceived retrofit inconvenience, cost or poor performance, there is still a large percentage of equipment continuing to run with R12 and R502. The paper will present two interim HCFC blends R409A and R408A, that because of their ease in use and excellent operating performance may make the elimination of R12 and R502 extremely cost effective.
