Summary

In this new wind tunnel it is possible to test car-air conditioners under real conditions. By indirect cooling, a high thermal stability is guaranteed. Two screw compressors with a cooling capacity of 530 kilowatts at an evaporation temperature of -40 deg C and a condensation temperature of 35 deg C allow a wind speed of up to 150 km/hour at -30 deg C with a full solar simulation.
