Summary

This paper describes an European concerted action aimed at tackling the problem of quality and security of frozen foods. The starting point is to understand the weak links in the chain and to propose best practice at manufacturer, distributor, retailer and consumer levels in order to provide the highest quality and safety in frozen products.
