Summary

Solid precipitation of n-alkanes in natural gas processing should be avoided since it may cause blockage in the process equipment. In order to design and control the operation reliable thermodynamic model for precipitation temperature prediction are required. Evaluation of three thermodynamic models; PC SAFT EoS, PR EoS, and RST has been performed. The result indicates that generally PC SAFT EoS performs best for precipitation temperature prediction.
