Summary
An account of a German company's efforts to introduce hydrocarbons, particularly isobutane, in commercial refrigeration. Safety aspects were addressed, along with the possibility of using isobutane as a R12 drop-in fluid. In addition, propane was compared with R22 for lower temperatures.
