THE DEFINITION OF STORAGE LIFE IN TERMS OF ONLY TIME, TEMPERATURE AND TOLERANCE (TTT-EXPERIMENTS) IS INADEQUATE AND NEEDS ALSO TO TAKE INTO ACCOUNT THE QUALITY OF THE PRODUCT, THE PRE-TREATMENT AND THE PACKAGING (PPP-FACTORS). THESE CONSIDERATIONS ARE APPLIED TO TESTS ON A NUMBER OF PRODUCTS INCLUDING CUT MEAT, SAUSAGES, BACON AND BACONBURGERS.
