Field analysis of residential engine driven natural gas heat pump (GHP) in an office application.
Author(s) : SASSO M., SIBILIO S., BELLIA L.
Summary
The energy and economic benefits of GHP gas conditioning option are affected not only by the machine efficiency, but also by the user energy demand together with the gas price. The influence of the above mentioned factors on the performance of a small size gas engine driven heat pump, used to match the cooling and heating requirements of an office located in Naples, Italy, has been investigated. In the paper attention is paid to the description of the data acquisition system and the first results obtained from the field test are presented.
