Type of article: Article
Summary
The paper presents experimental studies on changes in pipe conditions below freezing point. In the experiments, similar weather conditions to that day are made by the cold wind generator. Some cases of the cold wind temperature and velocity are given, and the pipe test piece condition, the variation of inside pressure and the surface temperature are measured. Results confirm the freezing process as well as the effects of thermal insulation and antifreeze liquid.
