Summary
The design of fluidized bed freezers is based on a moving belt conveyed by a motor. A study group in Brittany has developed a fluidized bed freezer employing a fixed or mobile grid with refrigerated air supplied via nozzles located under the grid. This system has numerous technical advantages of considerable economic value.
