Summary
The IQF has allowed the processors to supply customers with products in ready-to-cook form. The benefits have led to an expansion in this type of plant despite higher costs. The individual quick-freezing method is described as well as the equipment required. Temperature measurement, freezing times and dehydration are also studied as commercially critical where rapid freezing takes place.
