Helium 3 Joule Thomson inversion curve.
Author(s) : MAYTAL B. Z.
Type of article: Article
Summary
The inversion curve for helium 3 is determined through a previously proposed advanced equation of state, with 16 coefficients. It is confronted with some available measured inversion points. A reasonable match is observed only for temperatures above 6.6 K. The reduced form inversion curve is compared to hydrogen, helium 4 and other gases. Once again, helium 3 is demonstrated to be strongest violator of the principle of corresponding states.
