A METHOD OF HPLC SEPARATION AND ESTIMATION OF CHLOROPHYLLS A AND B AND OF PHEOPHYTINS A AND B IN FRESH AND FROZEN VEGETABLES IS REPORTED. THE METHOD SHOWED A HIGH PRECISION AND RELIABILITY. IT CAN BE USED FOR THE ANALYSIS OF LOW CHLOROPHYLLS CONTENT VEGETABLES, SUCH AS FROZEN PEAS, DUE TO THE HIGH SENSITIVITY OF THE SPECTROFLUORIMETRIC DETECTION.
