IIR document
Hydrocarbon blend as retrofit refrigerant for domestic refrigerators.
Author(s) : AGARWAL R. S.
Summary
The paper discusses the retrofitting of domestic refrigerator appliances using eco-friendly refrigerant. Extensive experimental studies have been carried out. The results are presented and show that retrofitting of domestic refrigerators using HC blend consumes almost same amount of energy. Electrical components have to be replaced by sealed/PTC non-sparking components.
