INFLUENCE OF FREEZE-DRYING OVER PRESERVATION OF THE ENZYME ACTIVITY OF HUMICOLA LUTEA 120-5 MOULD MUTAGEN STRAIN.

[In Bulgarian. / En bulgare.]

Summary

THE INFLUENCE OF FREEZE-DRYING OVER THE ENZYME ACTIVITY OF HUMICOLA LUTEA 120-5 MOULD MUTAGEN STRAIN -PRODUCER OF ACID PROTEASE -WAS STUDIED. IT WAS FOUND OUT THAT OF THE 5 EXPERIMENTED PROTECTIVE MEDIA THE MOST SUITABLE ONE FOR ITS FREEZE-DRYING WAS THE MODIFIED GLUTAMIC-DEXTRAN-SUCRASE MEDIUM (WITH A RATE OF ITS COMPONENTS 1:1:2) PROVIDING 100% SURVIVAL OF THE SPORES. THE OPTIMAL STORAGE TEMPERATURE ENSURING THE CONDITION OF FREEZE-DRYING WAS 277 K(4 DEG C). AFTER A PERIOD OF 8 YEARS STORAGE OF H. LUTEA 120-5 STRAIN UNDER THIS TEMPERATURE, THE AUTHORS OBSERVED MORPHOLOGICAL STABILITY AND 100% PRESERVATION OF THE LEVEL OF ITS PROTEOLYTIC ACTIVITY.
