Influence of middle temperature of exhaust gas on a two-stage waste-heat LiBr-H2O absorption chiller with a heat pipe.

Author(s) : ZHU Y. C., JIN S. M.

Summary

It is shown that when the temperature of inlet and outlet gas are given, the refrigerating capacity and the COP increased with decreasing the middle temperature of exhaust gas. The quantity of heat absorbed in high pressure generator was bigger, in low pressure generator, however, it was smaller than before. Owing to the variation of middle temperature, heat transfer coefficients were changed in each generator. So, the heat transfer area of a separated heat pipe increased in the high pressure generator, while it decreased in the low pressure generator, but the total area increased and the range of optimum middle temperature of exhaust gas was given.
