Summary

'Kiyomi' tangor (Citrus unshiu x C. sinensis) fruits held at ambient temperature and humidity for 1 to 2 weeks (prestorage conditioning) prior to storage at various cold temperature and humidity regimes were compared with fruit stored directly without prestorage treatment to seek means of preventing rind injury. Rind injury and pitting are investigated according to prestorage conditioning treatment, temperature, humidity, and storage time.
