Summary
In the article previous research findings on thermophysical properties, two-phase flow regimes and heat transfer in evaporator tubes of the refrigerant-and-oil mixture are briefly reviewed, and the applicability of these results to the combination of the alternative refrigerant and oil system is discussed. Limited quantitative agreements were obtained from a perfectly miscible refrigerant-and-oil mixture. Future research orientations on heat-transfer mechanisms are discussed.
