Summary
Red bay berry is an indigenous fruit of China. This soft and juicy fruit has a very thin skin formed from many small raised areas. The authors have investigated injury at different stages of transport and studied how the packaging materials and fruit stalk affected levels of red bay berry injury. An appropriate package to reduce fruit injury is recommended.
