SUBSTANTIAL QUANTITIES OF FROZEN VEGETABLES ARE IMPORTED AND HAVE GOOD RETAIL ACCEPTANCE. FROZEN CHICKEN PRODUCTION HAS DECLINED, THE MARKET IS MAINLY RETAIL. A SERIES OF TABLES GIVE STATISTICS OF PRODUCTION YEAR BY YEAR FROM 1960 TO 1980, THE CONSUMPTION PER HEAD PER YEAR SINCE 1969, THE INSTITUTIONAL AND RETAIL SALES YEARLY SINCE 1969, THE INSTITUTIONAL AND RETAIL SALES IN 1980 OF THE DIFFERENT PRODUCTS AND THE NUMBER OF FROZEN FOOD FACTORIES AND THE PRODUCTION PER ONE FACTORY 1969 TO 1980 AND THE VALUE OF THE DIFFERENT FROZEN FOODS BY YEAR SINCE 1960.
