Type of article: Article
Summary
Equine blastocysts classified by size were vitrified in solutions containing 40% ethylene glycol, 18% ficoll and 0.3 M sucrose, with phosphates. Blastocyst behaviour is described, particularly after thawing. The smallest blastocysts (smaller than 200 microns) develop better than the larger ones.
