Summary

A review was performed in 2001 on the information available on Internet concerning the incidence of Legionella bacteria in cooling towers and air conditioning installations. Comparable research was carried out again in 2004. It appears that more than twice the amount of information was available than in 2001. The paper gives a short review of this information.
