LIN-dispenser(TM): nitrogen gas flushing and pressurization.

Author(s) : FRANEK M., BROWN D.

Summary

Increasing the internal pressure of filled cans and plastic bottles by injecting liquid nitrogen before they are sealed ensures adequate strength for handling and prevents the collapsing effect as the products cool. The dispensers presented are designed to pack a wide range of products, such as still or carbonated drinks, coffee, tea, soup, snacks, nuts, etc. On beer filling lines, the dispenser is used to create heat by dissolving the nitrogen in the beer when the can is opened.
