Summary

IF SOME THERMODYNAMIC PROPERTIES OF R134A AND R152A ARE SIMILAR TO THOSE OF R12, SOME OTHERS ARE INCOMPATIBLE WITH THE TECHNOLOGY OF ACTUAL REFRIGERATING MACHINES. A SUPPLEMENTARY DEGREE OF FREEDOM IN THE CHOICE OF THE FLUID IS GIVEN BY USING MIXTURES OF TWO OR MORE HFA. THE AUTHORS PRESENT THE LIQUID-VAPOR EQUILIBRIUM DATA OF R134A/R152A SYSTEM OBTAINED USING A STATIC EQUIPMENT IN THE TEMPERATURE RANGE OF -30 TO 50 DEG C THIS BINARY SYSTEM IS AZEOTROPIC AND QUASI-AZEOTROPIC.
