Summary
Current treatments for stopping eye development in potatoes during storage are studied, with the exception of modified-atmosphere technologies. Diffuse light is studied, as well as various chemical products, including chlorpropham, propham, tecnazene, and maleic hydrazide. New products (like carvone, pulegone and dimethyl naphthalene) are described.
