Summary
Carcasses stored at -18 deg C maintained relatively high sensory and organoleptic values throughout the storage period (nine months), except for slight freezer burns in individual birds (less than 20%). A similar trend was observed initially in carcasses stored at -12 deg C, but the values decreased slightly with increasing frozen storage.
