On-board ice making for fish preservation.
La production de glace à bord pour la conservation du poisson.
Author(s) : VIDAL S.
Type of article: Article, Review, Case study
Summary
Preserving fish on board ships guarantees quality and freshness but this requires on-board ice production. An ice-making plant is therefore indispensable but the choice must be made by carefully studying all the technical criteria (required quantity of ice, what water for the ice? What type of ice?).
